HFA 400

Numerically controlled, fully automatic machine for universal use in cutting all types of metals: rods, structural steel, tubes – individually or in bundles. In automatic operation mode, the segment length and number of pieces may be pre-programmed. When equipped with the chip conveyor, supplied as standard equipment, the HFA-400 may be used in particular in large series production. Yet, this machine is also well suited for individual cutting. With the aid of the zero stop it is, for example, very easy to position cutting material. The combined feed pressure system, including the option of either cutting with constant feed pressure or, depending on the load, according to the material cross-section, provides optimal results in terms of cutting performance and tool life. Electronic monitoring consistently ensures that the cut is planar-parallel. While measurement results are displayed, the HFA-400 W automatically shuts down when the set tolerance is reached. A total of 99 programme records are available, meaning up to 99 combinations of numbers of pieces and segment lengths may be pre-programmed and cut fully automatically by the HFA-400 W. Existing programmes may be modified at any time.
