A system approach to customer's needs

The clinch system is designed in such a way that applications can be quickly and easily built using modular, standard elements. It consists of a large number of C'frames, force units and ancillary accessories offering unlimited possibilities to line builders and to customers for customizing their application: Stand alone, bench mounted, integrated, multi-head, automatic and robotized installations can be configurated and built-up rapidly using a unique module range.

There are 3 families of standard modules : 35 kN, 50 kN, and 75/100 kN. Each of them is designed to exactly fit the tool force required by the corresponding tool kit range, with nominal die diameters respectively 5.0mm, 6.0mm and 8.0mm. In addition, it is possible to equip the work head with 2 or more tool kits.

The modules are hydraulically powered by a family of pressure boosters (air-to-oil converters) using only a small quantity of oil, eliminating the need of large hydraulic power pack with large oil volumes and complex circuitries. They are supplied completely assembled, with fittings, tubes, sensors and accessories, filled with oil and sealed, tested and delivered to the customer ready to operate or to be integrated.

The P35 and the P50 work heads can be equipped with the Passive Approach Stroke Systems PASS , so that most of the tool motion is simply powered by pneumatic cylinders, thus reducing the booster size and the air consumption to the bar minimum.

In addition to the programme shown in the catalogues, we supply customized clinching solutions, with work heads up to 300 kN force and C'frame of any size you may need.
