Bending

The robotized system made by Starmatik allows the metal sheet to be followed during the entire bending cycle. The cell is composed of the following elements: an industrial robot equipped with a suction or magnetic gripper, two software solutions i.e. Easybend and Simuleasy, which are used to create off-line bending programs for the robot and the press brake, a sheet loader with sheet thickness control, a line tracking system, an aligner, an overturner unit, an optical guard or interlocked gates for safety and pallets for offloading of folded parts. Starmatik has a unique in cycle, blank loading system with a thickness control unit which reduces by 10-15 seconds the cycle time per piece. All components are standard and designed to suit any press brake brand. Thank to the easy installation procedure the setup time is minimum, and the modular design ensures compatibility with almost any CNC control press brake.
