Amada's Roll Radius Tooling allows the forming of large radii over a length of 2000 - 4000mm all of which can be performed on the press brake machine.

By utilizing the principle of three rollers and varying the pressure of the top tool, the Roll Radius Tooling can perform the forming operation, providing a highly accurate radius and excellent surface finish. The material is fed into the machine and the roll motion is controlled via a motor ensuring constant material feed.

The operation and adjustment is simple, reducing fabrication time significantly. The easy tool set-up allows for quick change between roll radius bending and conventional press brake bending on a single machine.
