Traditionally closed component bending has proved difficult due to the fact that the component, once bent, has to be re-opened to remove it from the punch. Obviously this is a time costly process, which reduces the speed of the job through the press brake cell.

The Closing Punch is a tool specifically designed to cope with closed and deep bending operations.

The tool consists of a 30mm square punch blade, which has two different styles bending tip- 2off at 88 degree and 2off 90 degree.

The punch blade is removable to allow easy release of the component after the bending operation.

Deep bending is also possible, with a standard distance piece set-up a maximum depth of 115 x 35mm can be achieved.
