NEX Tooling was originally designed for the Vipros machine although it is now widely used on thick turret hydraulic and mechanical machines.

NEX Tooling decreases the punch stroke of the machine by keeping the punch and guide faces equal, this allows for the highest punch hit rate of the machine to occur to give maximum productivity. Typically 20-30% productivity gains.

The NEX canister allows for quick and easy height adjustment after re-grind by a secure punch head-locking device. Once unlocked the punch body can be rotated to the desired position (flush with the guide). The punch body is then locked quickly and simply. There isn't any need for measuring of punch height due to the fact that the punch height remains constant at 208mm.

No updating is required on the PHNC control, which reduces set-up time and increases productivity further.

The NEX canister is compatible with all thick turret tooling and machines. Resulting in existing tooling being converted easily and inexpensively.
