Increasing the versatility and flexibility of your press brake machine is possible by the use of special distance pieces.

The Narrow Distance Piece can fit into the standard distance piece - (use a ZI Type Narrow Distance Piece) or directly into the machine top beam-(a ZI or ZII Narrow distance piece depending upon machine model).

The Narrow Distance Piece allows narrow forms to be produced avoiding any fouling of the component side flanges.

The width of the distance piece is 50mm.

Amada also supply the Short Distance Piece. This can be used under a standard distance piece to increase the height of the punch-(use a ZI Type Short Distance Piece). It is possible to substitute the standard distance piece for a Short Distance Piece to increase the gap between the punch and the die-(a ZI or ZII Short distance piece depending upon machine model).
