Amada's Sheetsaver Tooling is a slitting tool that decreases the clamp dead zone area. This is achieved by the unique tool design. The guide assembly and the die edges that would have previously interfered with any movement and positioning of the clamp have been cut away.

This design feature reduces the clamp dead zone to within 35.0mm of the clamp held edge of the sheet. As a result, an increase of component parts can be nested upon the sheet. This reduces material wastage, overall manufacturing time and makes the nesting of components easier for the programmer.
