When tapping thin gauge material it is sometimes necessary to perform a burring operation on the pre-pierced hole. If various sizes are required the this can prove a costly tooling experience.

Amada's thick turret "B" Station Upform Burring Tool Kit offers a wide variety of burring sizes in a handy self contained kit.

The Burring Kit has a one touch punch height adjustment and a simple insert change, which reduces set-up time. The kit contains five different burring diameters ranging from M2.6 ~ M6. The Airblow system lubricates the tool, which dramatically improves tool life and reduces the risk of "cold welding".

Other Burring Kits are available for burring in imperial sizes, burring operations in Stainless Steel or for roll tapping operations.
