Radius bending requires special tooling designed for the purpose. This tooling once designed can only perform the form it has been designed for.

Amada's Multi Radius Punch offers the user six different punch tips that can be used on one punch holder.

The steel punch tips fit into the punch holder via a spring mechanism. This enables self-alignment of the punch tip. The punch holder can be reversed depending upon which radius punch tip is required. Forming can take place in standard steel dies or Polyurethane dies.

Punch tip radii available are as follows:

Radius 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 8.0, & 10.0mm

By reducing the set-up time we can increase the productivity of the press brake machine.
