Traditionally, marking or stamping operations have been produce by hand taming or applying transfers at some point through the production process. This can be for a number of reasons such as serial numbers for batches for identification purposes. This can prove costly and time consuming.
The Auto Index Marking Tool eliminates costly procedures by making it part of the
punching operation, this ensures accuracy, consistency and reduces the need for secondary operations.
Amada's Marking Tool fits into the auto index station. It is available in a "B" Station - 10 characters or "C" Station - 24 characters. The characters are selected by rotating the tool in the auto index station. Characters are stamped individually allowing flexibility. The choice of the character is up to the user e.g. numbers, letters etc. The mark depth is 0.4mm.
